I was born and raised just outside of St. Kilian, Minnesota and graduated high school from Adrian. After graduation I attended Willmar Vocational College and completed their 2-year Agriculture Business program. From there I returned to the family farm and worked part-time for both Five Star Fertilizer and Carl’s Farm Store.
I now farm full-time and partner with neighbors on a wean to finish hog operation and custom finish hogs for WPI. I got into selling Dekalb seed about 18 years ago when a neighbor retired his dealership. My favorite thing about it is the customer relations. There’s nothing better than having a consistent, quality product that performs season after season for my growers. I truly appreciate working with them and the business they do.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my 4 kids; Torri (20), Dalton (19), Carli (16) and Mikayla (14). As time allows, I also like the occasional snow mobiling trip.
